Our signature. No baking soda, no aluminum, and it works.
Grass-fed tallow and shea glide on smooth. Magnesium hydroxide neutralizes the acids behind odor, zinc ricinoleate binds odor, and kaolin and arrowroot absorb moisture. It controls odor; it doesn't stop sweat. 2.65 oz (75 g). New scent: Line Dried.

No baking soda, aluminum, exfoliating acids, triethyl citrate, propylene glycol, added alcohol or synthetic fragrance.

How to use
Hold against clean, dry underarms for a few seconds to soften, then use 2 to 3 swipes. More isn't better.
External use only. Best on unbroken skin; stop use if irritation occurs.

- Bare (Unscented)
- No scent at all. No essential oils.
- Bourbon Oak
- Warm and woody, our signature. Dry cedar and Siam wood with a little sweet orange, cardamom and vanilla.
- Worn Leather
- Deeper, darker woods. Two cedars and Siam wood with labdanum for a smoky-sweet, leathery impression.
- Quiet Lavender
- Calm and grounded. Bulgarian lavender softened with Roman chamomile and a trace of earthy vetiver.
- Rose Geranium
- Soft, rosy-green. Geranium and Bulgarian lavender with a touch of palmarosa.
- Velvet Bloom
- Soft, rosy woods. Amyris, Siam wood and copaiba with geranium and vanilla.
- Coastal Sage & Driftwood
- Fresh, green and herbal. Clary sage and juniper over pale woods, brightened with bergamot and petitgrain.
- Fireside Cedar
- Evergreen and hearth. Cedarwood and frankincense with fresh fir needle and a little sweet orange.
- Line Dried
- Clean sheets off the line. Bulgarian lavender, petitgrain and bergamot with a hint of coriander.

Deodorant questions
Does it stop sweat?
No. It is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It controls odor, and you will still sweat.
I’m switching from antiperspirant. What should I expect?
It can feel different for a week or two, because sweat is no longer being held back. Start with clean, dry skin, hold the stick against it for a few seconds to soften, then use two or three light swipes. Read our guide to switching.
Why is there no baking soda?
Magnesium hydroxide and zinc ricinoleate handle odor in its place, and kaolin and arrowroot absorb moisture. How it works without baking soda.
Which scent should I pick?
Try a $6 travel mini first; any two are $11 and any three are $15. Our Scents describes each blend and lists every oil in it, and Bare has no scent at all.
How should I store it?
Below 80°F, out of direct sun, with the cap on. Tallow softens in heat; if a stick softens in a hot car or in the mail, a short time in the refrigerator firms it back up.
